The Fringe Ki-da
- Information Broker Ki-da is a male Cerean in his early fifties, who was born and raised on Ord Kasis. He is of average Cerean height at two meters tall and has piercing hazel eyes flecked with yellow. He is usually calm and logical, with a businessman's air about him. He is also is charming and nearly always knows more about his clients than they know about him. Ki-da has a taste for gambling, particularly Sabaac, as well as an interest in big game hunting. Ki-da's parents were killed in a freak speeder accident, leaving him in the care of Bride's Orphanage at the age of three. Away from his parents and his culture, Ki-da grew up to be quite different from normal Cereans and picked up a human's love for adventure and intrigue. Ki-da ran away from the orphanage at the age of fifteen and spent the next five years growing up on the back streets of Ord Kasis. It was during this time that he learnt the value of information and what people would part with to gain that information. This knowledge is what kept Ki-da clothed and fed during those early years. Growing restless of Ord Kasis, Ki-da left the planet in search of adventure and credits. He spent the next twenty five years wandering and exploring the Galaxy. It was during this time, not long after the Clone Wars, that he met Kyle Mard on Ord Mantell. The two met in a tapcafe and they soon became good friends sharing a common interest in hunting - Kyle had just started up his own hunting business at this time. A year or so later, the two friends went their separate ways both needing to move on. Whilst Kyle went away to develop his new business, Ki-da decided to head back to the Ringali Shell to set up his own business as an information broker. On returning to the Shell and settling on Ketress, Ki-da was met by success after success as his business grew. To top it off, he helped Kyle to set up shop in one of Ketress' best hunting lodges - the Wild Country Hunting Lodge. Recently, however, Ki-da lost a fortune to a crime lord in a high stakes game of Sabaac. Thanks to the profits of his business, he managed to pay off most of the owed money, but he had to borrow the outstanding credits from the loan shark Nylar Hreidersson. This has turned out to be one of Ki-da's worst decisions as he struggles to meet the ridiculous repayments Relationships with other characters: He's a good friend of Kyle Mard.
