Addendum: The Jinten system is located just off the Perelmian Trade Route and contains three planets - Quavail, Nictus and Araine. Quavail and Nictus are uninhabited barren planets, with no significant mineral wealth worth mining. The third planet, Araine, is really the jewel of the system and is famous for the export of exotic fruit and the wines, spirits and liqueurs that are distilled from this produce.

Araine is a tropical world with huge swathes of jungle, sweeping plains and vast oceans. Araine has four main continents and small landmasses over each of the polar caps. Each of the main continents is governed by a regional councillor, with the northernmost continent being split into three regions, each ruled by a councillor, as it is by far the largest landmass. The ruling council meets in the capitol city of Kartesh, which is also where the Imperial Governor holds his seat.

Kartesh sits in the far north of the northern continent, in the midst of the only industrial region on the planet. It is here that the production of furniture has become a premier industry, everything from luxury suites to filing cabinets is made here and then shipped around the galaxy from Kartesh's starport.

Being a tropical world, insect life is rather prominent. Unfortunately, a number of these insects are known to carry a number of tropical diseases, some of which can prove fatal if not treated quickly. It is due to these diseases that visitors to Araine are required to receive vaccinations either prior to arrival, in which case documentary evidence will need to be provided, or as soon as they make planet fall in one of the medical facilities attached to the spaceport. A nominal fee is charged to those who do not come prepared and require vaccination on arrival.

Big game hunters have taken well to the predators that roam the jungles of Araine. In particular the Kalasahn panther and the Felis Amarynth or "Arainian Green Tiger" as it is more commonly known, are prized by galactic hunters. There is also the Koralii bird, famed for both its succulent flavour and its fabulous iridescent feathers, which are highly sought after in the fashion world. Numerous game ranch hotels are to be found on the plains that border the equatorial jungles, catering to the whims of the well to do and deicated game hunters alike.
