Addendum: The Dava system is located in the Ringali Nebula between the Perlemian Trade Route and the Old Navy Run in the Darpa sector. The system has unusual gravitational properties making hyperspace travel within it impossible. As a result, the Jump Zone is located towards the very edge of the system and starships have to travel insystem using their sublight engines, which can take up to two hours for some slower vessels. With the system being in the Nebula itself, starship sensors and communications equipment are hampered by interference, halving their effective range. Of the system's six planetary bodies only Dava IV is truly inhabited, and has been since the rise of the Old Republic.

Dava IV is a diverse landscape of sprawling plantations, expansive oceans, small cities and long winding rivers. Its climate is pleasant most of the year round, with even the winter season tending to be quite mild. These conditions, combined with mineral rich soil, are ideal conditions the planet's vast plantations.

When the planet was first colonised, a farmer called Nate Fibyan discovered a type of small tree that produced bolls very similar to cotton bolls. When these bolls were spun they resulted in a material that was much harder wearing than normal cotton. Centuries later, Fibyan Cotton is the mainstay of Dava IV's economy and is used to produce military uniforms across the Galaxy.

Huddled between the massive Fibyan Cotton plantations are small cities geared towards the processing of cotton and the production of clothing. The planet's coastal cities also have a thriving seafood industry, exporting some of most sought after fish in the Ringali Shell. The planet's capital city, Albar, is by far the largest of these coastal cities and is home to the planet's main starport.

Despite Dava IV being a tranquil and peaceful place, the planet has a surprisingly large number of private security firms and a considerable Imperial Customs presence. This is attributed to the fact that a number of the planet's factories produce uniforms for the Empire.

Addendum: The gas giant Dava V, is a huge swirling mass of gases that have little or no commercial use. This blend of gases gives the planet a milky brown hue with the occasional patch of white clouds. Like most gas giants, Dava V supports several moons, but they are devoid of useful minerals in any sizable quantity.

The planet and its five moons are unable to support any life and the only inhabitants are located on the second moon in an environmentally controlled Imperial Naval Supply Base (designation INSB-DARPA-DAVA-5/3/S). The INSB is a Myriad-Class Supply Base and is located in a deep ravine that runs part way along the moon's equator. The base's commanding officer is Lieutenant Commander Marcus Ried, a middle aged human from Coruscant who served in the Old Republic's Navy before the rise of the Empire.

With the moon having no atmosphere and low gravity all of the base's personnel have been trained in zero-g combat and are equipped standard issue life support equipment, which includes a repulsorlift unit to combat the low gravity.

Addendum: Dava VI is the sixth planet in the Dava system and is furthest away from the system's star. As a result, Dava VI is covered in massive ice plains, snow capped rocky mountains and stretches of desolate tundra. The planet's average temperature during the day hovers around -64C all year round, whilst at night the temperature averages around -102C. These temperatures have made it virtually impossible for any life to exist on the planet, despite the abundance of water available. The planet is rich in oxygen and accounts for forty three percent of planet's atmosphere. This, combined with the planet's freezing temperatures, makes environmentally controlled body suits and breathing apparatus absolutely essential.

Up until six years ago, Deva VI had never been inhabited since its discovery. The planet is now home to Tergen Inc., a small company that specialises in the harvesting and processing of water and oxygen. Tergen employs four hundred and twelve employees who are nearly all locals from Dava IV. The company's primary customer is the Imperial Naval Supply Base INSB-DARPA-DAVA-5/3/S, on Dava V's second moon.
