The Blue Rain
Original Capsule and Stats by Chris Deck

The Nova Dragons found the badly damaged Blue Rain on the Imperial Waypoint station located near the Fyris system (See Episode IV). Once recovered, the vessel was repaired and used as the team's legitimate starship for travelling about the Ringali Shell, until it was sold off on Starforge Station.

The Blue Rain is a "System Jumper" manufactured by Hiad Engineering, a small starship designer in the Mid Rim. It is easily one of the smallest hyperdrive-equipped starships on the starship market. The vessel is flown by one pilot and has space for up to two passengers. The ship's tiny cargo compartment can hold up to five metric tons of cargo. Of course the ship lacks heavy weapons and tough shields being a civilian starship, and so is not intended to fulfil military purposes.

The System Jumper is quite popular among the wealthy citizens of the Galaxy. It is the perfect conveyance for intra-system transportation, and its small hyperdrive unit enables the ship to jump to nearby systems. Yet, the vessel only has consumables for one week and is not equipped for long-term voyages. The System Jumper is ideal for use within safe star systems, as its only defence capability is a low-powered shield generator and one turret-mounted Blaster Cannon.
