The Wild Fire

The Wild Fire is a heavily modified CEC YT-2000 Transport owned by the four founding members of the Nova Dragons. Over the years the vessel has served them well, and for most of the Nova Dragons it is their only home.

Since purchasing the vessel, the Wild Fire has under gone several refits, but its hull configuration remains largely unchanged from the starship's original design. The refits include the fitting of a ventral quad laser turret; an upgrade to the power output of both turrets, giving them more punch; an engine and retro thruster refit; a hyperdrive upgrade; a shields upgrade; a sensors refit; fitting a pair of nose mounted heavy ion cannons; fitting a proton torpedo launcher in each mandible; the installation of a threat warning indicator; the installation of a Cotterdam universal airlock; the installation of a backup battery; and the installation of a landing claw. In addition to these upgrades, the Wild Fire also has two additional transponder codes - the Starlight and Cortez.

The Wild Fire is in many ways the core of the Nova Dragons and is sorely missed by those serving aboard the Hammer.
