he Elrood sector, though remote, is nonetheless as
intriguing a sector as one could hope to find anywhere in the galaxy. Many
inhabited worlds are found here, and with each world naturally come innumerable
lifeforms, cultures, and technologies. Included here are those people, places
and things who have figured significantly into the 'Tales of the Freespirit'
campaign. This Sourcebook will be constantly expanding, as new entries become
relevant to the Tales. In the future, you can expect to see a chapter added
covering The Force. Most anyone or anything presented here could be found across the
galaxy, with perhaps a little tweaking. I invite you to use this Sourcebook for
inspiration in your own games, and for the enjoyment of you and your players. I
do ask, however, that if you want to publish anything from this site, either on
paper or in a website of your own, that you please contact me
first.
Of course, nothing I've created here could have existed without the seminal creations of George Lucas, and the creative staff of West End Games. In case you didn't already know, the Elrood sector was originally created by WEG, appearing in their books The Star Wars Planets Collection and Star Wars: Operation Elrood. If you don't own either of these books, I urge you to go and find them while they may still be available. These books are the purest authority on the sector, and the purpose of this Sourcebook is simply to expand upon them, as relates to my own games. Entries will appear here for characters and places already published by WEG, but you will notice I'm taking special care not to reprint anything those fine people have already done. For instance, in the case of stats, only those stats that have changed due to character development and the like will appear here. But if you really need to know what Grakkata's full stats are, just email me and I will happily look them up for you. Or, better yet, go and buy the books... they rock!
And now, get ready to cut in the sublight engines - you've reached Elrood sector!
